College Station Sports Complex
Sports Design Group was selected as the field and track designer for the New College Station Hill High School Sports Complex. The project consisted of a synthetic turf stadium field, new rubberized track, a natural grass softball field, a natural grass baseball field and track field events. The synthetic turf fields have stabilized subgrades, seal poly liner with drainage aggregate, concrete edge treatments (edge anchor and synthetic turf. The track consists of a stabilized base, two layers of asphalt and a pours rubberized track surface. The natural grass fields consisted of new backstop, wing fencing, outfield fencing, bullpens, root-zone sand based fields, irrigation, drainage and certified sand based sod.
